This is the first Starbucks. Apparently they kept the original design and everything. Too bad we don't drink coffee or we would have ordered something!

This is Pike Place Market. It is a market type setting where there are all types of stores and vendors as you walk down this long hallway. Things are pretty cheap too.

They had lots of fish to sell in the market. A buyer will pick one out and then they toss it behind the counter and clean it up for them. Fresh fish!

The view of Pudget Sound. We think this is a view of Olympic National Park. Or close to it anyway. Still kind of foggy.

We did a tour called "The Underground Tour". Apparently, downtown Seattle was first built below sea-level. They obviously had trouble with the flooding and sewer lines. So they decided to build the city up. They started with the streets. They streets would be 10 feet higher than the sidewalks. So at every corner there would be a ladder to climb up to street level. Our guide told us some funny stories about people getting pooped on by horses or drunk people falling off the street. They then brought the sidewalks up to street level. But you can go down and see some of the "original" Seattle.

We had to wait until the afternoon to go to the Space Needle. It was pretty foggy that morning and we only wanted to go up if it was clear.

A view of downtown Seattle from the top. On a perfectly clear day you would be able to see Mt. Rainier from here. It was still foggy in the distance, but we got a glimps of it. It is to the right of all the tall buildings. Apparently Seattle is having its foggiest summer ever.

No words needed for this picture!

We went into a store where they did glass blowing. It was a very interesting process to watch. This girl just took a piece of glass out of the furnace thing.

This guy would take the glass out of the furnace and roll it to make it into the shape he wanted. Every time it came out of the furnace it would turn to a different shade of orange.
