Road Trip to the Pacific Northwest

Neil and I had a GREAT time on our trip to the northwest! We drove a total of 3,800 miles! Boy, we were glad to get home! We went to two national parks (Mt. Rainer and Olympic Park in Washington). We took a ferry from Washington to Vancouver Island. We then drove to the other side of the island to go salmon fishing! It was such a fun experience! We saw lots of wildlife...black bears, bald eagles, whales, seals, deer, and many marmots!! One of my favorite moments of the trip was sitting at a window facing the Pacific Ocean at a restaurant in Ucluelet, British Columbia. We could see whales surfacing and blowing and then we could see their tails slap as they dove back down. It was awesome! So you would think we would see some whales up close when we were out in the fishing boat...nope. I have lots of pictures to post. I will try to do that sometime soon!
