Salt Lake City

On our way home we stopped in Salt Lake City and stayed with Neil's friend John. We went to see the Mormon Temple and the site where the Olympics were held.


Here is the temple. They name the streets based off how far away they are from the temple. 500 S Street or 1200 West...it is really weird.

We are the future of Olympic bobsledding!

We got there in time to see some ski jumpers practicing their jumps into the pool. First they have to walk all the way to the top and then...

...they jump right in!

We also saw the bobsled track. Pretty big with some intense curves.

Neil is real excited about it. Actually, I think he was just excited not to be driving for once!
