Neil was out of town for the weekend because he was in a wedding in Pennslyvania. So Mom and Dad brought Grandma Mari and Grandma Bert out to Colorado!
Our first stop was Garden of the Gods. It was kind of cool out, but we still got out and took some pictures.

So Mom stayed down with them and took some pictures.
We decided to drive up to Helen Hunt Falls. We took Gold Camp Road and saw some great views. Here Dad is climbing around to get a better view.

Whew...made it to the top with no problems! Mom and Dad kept going, but the grandmas and I decided to head back down.
We went shopping in Old Colorado City and found a store that sold these neat puzzles called "Scramble Squares". It seems like it would be an easy 9 piece puzzle, but it is not. Here we are working on the hot air balloon puzzle. We conquered it!! It took us quite a few tries, but we did it.

And then after church working on the bear puzzle while we wait for Neil to come home. We conquered this one too! The only one we couldn't get was the bald eagle one. So we sent it home with Grandma Mari...hopefully she can get it!
Here I am walking in to my surprise party! What fun! I wasn't quite sure what to think at this point!

Had to take a picture by the "30" sign...just to make sure we all know how old I now am! What a fun weekend! I'm so glad that Mom, Dad, and the grandmas could come out!
