The first step in our basement remodel was to pretty much redo the plumbing. We would have water overflow in the basement when I did laundry. We thought we solved this problem last January when they dug up our front yard, but apparently that really wasn't even the problem. So now we should have any more problems with the plumbing! 
This is where our little basement bathroom will be. We will have a small stand-up shower, sink, and toilet.
Neil also had to rip up a bunch of dry wall that was already there. This area is going to have a bedroom in the back and a TV room in the front.
The next step was to put up this black tarp everywhere.
And then they started framing! This is the bathroom. We now also have all the plumbing ready in the bathroom. Neil has been working on framing and on HVAC. It is going to be pretty sweet when it is done!
