Friday I finally told my students that I was having a baby. Their reactions were so cute! The girls were definitely more excited than the boys. Here are some cute quotes:
"How did you know?"
"You should name the baby Chloe."
"You can't name the baby Chole, my cat's name is Chloe."
"Is the baby kicking you?"
"Are you still going to be our teacher in first grade?"
"Can I feel your belly?"
And one little girl just couldn't stop hugging me. It was so fun! Of course, all the girls want the baby to be a girl and all the boys want it to be a boy. Funny.
