The many faces of our backyard

Neil has been hard at work in our backyard.  We hated our yard for so long...now we LOVE it!  Just hope Haley gets used to the feel of grass on her feet!

 

This is what it looked like when we moved in.  Some nice animal holes and a cute little tree. 

If it rained, we would have a little bit of grass.

And a lot of weeds!!

And when it didn't rain, we had a brown yard, which was most of the time.

Not too sure about the grass. 

We had a bit of sod leftover so we decided to also do the side yard.  Dad wanted to help, but didn't bring his work shoes and didn't want to get his tennis shoes all dirty. 

 

So he started out with bags on his feet.  But those didn't last long.  Should have double bagged!

So he just went for the sock look.  As long as he stayed on the nice grass, he was ok. 

And this is how we use and abuse the company car since we don't have a truck!
