Neil and I really like snowshoeing and we didn't go at all last winter. So we decided we had better get to the mountains while we have the chance. So we got all bundled up and headed west. We went to some trails on the backside of Pikes Peak where there is snow! We drove right past the "Donut Mill" on the way, but didn't stop. We were so proud of ourselves for making the healthy choice by not getting any donuts.
This was Neil's first time using the baby carrier. I think Haley would rather be facing out, but this will have to do.
It sure was a beautiful day!

By the time we were done, Haley was ready to get out of the carrier!
So we let her play in the snow for a bit. She tried to make a snow angel, but couldn't move her arms or legs because of her puffy snowsuit.

She looked so lonely laying there all by herself so I joined her. I think she was glad to see me!
Her cheeks and nose got a little red.
She likes to sit up and see everything! And yes, I did comb her hair after her bath. I think this was static from her hat!
On the way home we were not so strong and healthy. So we just had to stop and get a donut! You would too if you only knew how delicious and gigantic these donuts are!
